Tropic Diver Bronze Fume Black
The hugely popular Tropic Diver case is now offered for the first time in bronze. Not just any regular bronze, but marine grade bronze, CuSn8. CuSn8 is commonly regarded as the industry standard, this means it can be used below the surface in salt water for a lifetime, with virtually no signs of corrosion. Also the main reason for its long history of nautical applications. CuSn8 bronze is the most expensive bronze material due to the high copper content of 92 percent. Unlike other watch manufacturer that uses aluminum bronze, CuSn8 bronze gives the watch the warm almost rose gold bronze color. The bronze case is sandblasted to give it a smooth matte look. If you’re wondering why it looks like rose gold, don't worry because that’s totally normal for fresh bronze. The case won’t show any signs of patina until it’s been worn outside for a bit.
One of the highlights of this new model is probably the iconic dial design which is now synonymous with Evant. Drawing experience from the Fume Blue model, Evant has taken the fume dial to the next level. The new gradient fume black dial plays intensively with the surrounding light, depending on the lighting, goes from a mid black to a deep black; due to the sunburst finishing. The new dial's radiating effect is more apparent now than ever; lighter in the center and gradually darkens outwards. Combine this matching matte gilt applied indexes and you have what is probably the most mesmerizing dial we have ever seen. It is one of those dials you have to see it in person to appreciate the amount of details that has gone into what is seemingly a small area.
Drawing experience from the earlier models, Evant managed to improved the blend of ceramic and luminous application. The new Tropic Diver Bronze Fume Black's raised convex bezel insert is fabricated from a special blend of ceramic finished with luminous minimalist indices. The new bezel insert has a more appealing curvature and a luminous application that is more resilient to the element. Now everyone can enjoy a “bakelite” bezel and not having to worry about scratching it!
